Cask No. G8.11 Light & delicate wine in leather skins andCask No. G8. 11 Sweet remedy Lowland The nose portrayed the spirit of exuberance that defied this whisky's age and delivered to us a bountiful supply of apples, pears, gooseberries and pencil shavings. Vanilla pods and caramel wafers combined with sugar cane to bring a sweetness that followed onto a sticky and buttery palate. Then raisins soaked in rum poured over us like a soothing ointment with waves of walnut oil, melted butter and teasing spice.
