Let’s start off with the basics, shall we?
What is Navy Day?
Every year on December 4th in India, Navy Day is celebrated to recognize the achievements and role of the Indian Navy to the country. It is celebrated as a celebration of the victory of the Indian Navy in the 1971 India-Pakistan war. The Indian Navy Day commemorates Operation Trident, which was launched by the Indian Navy to attack Karachi Harbour during the War of 1971 between India and Pakistan. Every year, Navy Day recognises the valour, achievement, and role of India's naval force.
You must be wondering why a Tattoo Studio is posting about Navy Day? What does it have to do with it?
Well, every year we get lots of clients from all kinds of backgrounds coming in for tattoos but, our studio has a special space for people from defence background.
Since they serve our country all year round by putting their lives at risk and staying away from their families, we wanted to provide special treatment for them too. We wanted to show our respect and gratitude towards them.
How we are contributing towards it
Here, at The Ink Boy Studio, we have a rule of doing tattoos up to 5 inches for free for people who belong to defence background. Our studio is India’s first 24x7 Tattoo studio, so that way we also make sure our clients feel at ease when they book an appointment. For people with working backgrounds it is especially harder to take time out during the day so keeping that in mind, we welcome our clients at all times of the day and all 7 days of the week.
Here are some Tattoos that we are usually asked to do (defence edition) :
All the clients we’ve had so far have shared their stories behind their tattoos and each time we hear them, we are left amazed, amazed at how brave they are to put their lives at risk to protect our nation, and to meet such people in real life is truly an honour
